The Lutheran Church is not new, but the result of the movement reformer that shook  the Christian church in the year 1517. Dr. Martin Luther, catholic monk Roman of the order Agustina, prompted this movement to free to the church deenseñanzas erroneous and of many abuses that were practiced in the same one.  The desire of the reformer was not to found a new church or to create divisions, but to carry to the church to its roots of the New Testament.  Its main purpose was that man could know and relate to God through the message of the Bible.  In the Writing, God has revealed its Son Jesus as the savior of all the humanity and the only mediator to receive eternal life next to him.  That eternal life was earned for us through the death of Jesus in the cross of the Calvary and is offered free to every believer.  This is the reason why the predicación and the teaching of the Bible has been and is the main emphasis of the Lutheran Church. 

La Iglesia Luterana no es algo nuevo, sino el resultado delmovimiento reformador que sacudió a la iglesia cristiana en el año 1517. El Dr. Martín Lutero, monje católico romano de la orden Agustina, impulsó este movimiento para librar a la iglesia deenseñanzas erróneas y de muchos abusos que se practicaban en la misma. El deseo del reformador no fue de fundar una iglesia nueva o de crear divisiones, sino de llevar a la iglesia a sus raíces del Nuevo Testamento. Su propósito principal fue que el hombre pudiera conocer y relacionarse con Dios por medio del mensaje de la Biblia. En la Escritura, Dios ha revelado a su Hijo Jesucristo como el Salvador de toda la humanidad y como el único mediador para recibir la vida eterna junto a él. Esa vida eterna fue ganada para nosotros por medio de la muerte de Jesucristo en la cruz del Calvario y es ofrecida gratuitamente a todo creyente. Esta es la razón por la que la predicación y la enseñanza de la Biblia ha sido y es el principal énfasis de la Iglesia Luterana.
